Shipping and Handling:

CONTINENTAL US
Most domestic orders are shipped United Parcel Service (UPS) ground for $8.95 minimum, FOB Denver. Please provide a street address for these UPS deliveries. United States Postal Service (USPS) shipping is also available upon request(Low Value items only). Shipping charges for these services are exact cost. Expedited services are available at actual costs.

ALASKA AND HAWAII:
Orders may be shipped United States Postal Service or UPS. Shipping charges for these services are exact cost. 

INTERNATIONAL:
Orders shipped DHL.

Reimbursals for lost shipments: Caboose Hobbies will reimburse you for any loss AFTER we have been reimbursed by the shipper.

BACK ORDERS:
Items not in stock are normally only back ordered at a customer's request. Back ordered items for residents in the Continental USA will be shipped as per above.

Hold Policy:
Local customers (within 100 miles of the store): Models may be held for 3 days.
Non-local customers living within the 50 Fifty United States: Items may be held a maximum of 5 days.
For all other customers outside of the mainland United States: Items may be held a maximum of 7 days. Holds may not be extended beyond specified days. Please provide a fax number or phone number and credit card number with the expiration date unless special arrangements have been made.

Sales Tax:
Colorado residents will be charged the appropriate sales tax. For orders shipped outside of colorado or the USA, it is the buyers responsibiliy to pay their local sales tax and import fees, if any!

Damaged Models:
In the event a customer receives a model that was damaged in shipment by UPS or DHL, please follow the following procedures:
1.) Notify Caboose Hobbies Inc and the shipping receiver office.
2.) Make sure you have the shipper number.
3.) Retain all shipping materials (carton, packing materials, etc.)
The Shipper will notify Caboose Hobbies to issue a call tag at our end. The Shipper will then pick up the shipping materials, the damaged model and the box from your address. This institutes the claim settlement. We will ensure that all corrective action is performed as quickly as possible.
